Kindergarten was transformed into a kingdom recently as our kindergarteners explored the world of Kings and Queens!

Our little monarchs discovered that kings and queens are born into special royal families, their role is to rule the kingdom and look after their people, and that there are still some kings and queens in other countries today.

Our very own Food Service Team is stepping away from the kitchen and behind the mic on this week's episode of Cat Chat! 🎙️

March is Reading Month! 📚

We're sharing what members of our staff are reading. Preschool/GSRP Teacher Maddi High's favorite book is the Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Mass.

Reminder: Wednesday, March 11 is a two hour late start.

For Cozy Up & Read Day last week, Ms. Clingaman’s fourth grade class built forts and read with flashlights to celebrate March is Reading Month!

The Girls Basketball team will play in the Regional Semi-Finals tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Bangor High School against Gobles!

March is Reading Month! 📚

We're sharing what members of our staff are reading. Second grade teacher, Mrs. Dodd, and her sixth grade daughter Ana are currently reading "The Bletchley Riddle" together!

Brandywine Elementary is hosting Art & Literacy Night on March 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. The theme is Ink & Imagination. Join students for activities, art, books, projects, and more. Students will have to decipher the mystery code by visiting seven different rooms.

It's Maintenance Appreciation Day! We are thankful for these four that oversee all of our facilities throughout the district - keeping the heat on and the water flowing, the sidewalks clean, and everything in working order.

Merritt Elementary is having Rock & Read Family Reading Night to celebrate March is Reading Month on March 16 from 6-7 p.m.

Families are invited to come to spend some time reading, relaxing, and rocking out together!

Our DK kids are having fun learning about graphs!

Some were surveying friends and recording their responses to questions like, "Which are more sour, lemons or lime?" and "Do you like chocolate or candy better?" They used graphs to help collect the data. They also had fun playing "roll a rainbow" to practice their graphing skills.

"This book is a science fiction novel that came highly recommended and has a film adaptation hitting theaters this month! Though science fiction books are not a typical/go-to genre that I’d gravitate toward as a reader, I’ve got to say this book has me hooked!! I can’t wait to see what happens next on the main character’s interstellar adventure to save planet Earth! "
