Out of an abundance of precaution due to the potential for unsafe travel conditions, Brandywine Community Schools will be closed today, February 20. Have a wonderful day, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing our amazing scholars back in school to finish out the week tomorrow.

Bobcat Country, due to icy road conditions, Brandywine Community Schools will be closed today, Thursday, February 6. While we’d love to see all of our young scholars, it's no day to be practicing your driving skills. Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy your "un-unexpected" day off. It’s an ice day to be a Bobcat!

There were so many great inventions at Shark Tank today! Fourth grade is finishing up the Student Inventors CKLA unit and students presented on their inventions today to a group of investors! Ideas included refillable chapstick, a cup made specifically for cooking eggs, a laundry chute that goes directly to your washer, a self protected bird feeder, and a self clothes folder. Way to go, inventors!

Good afternoon Bobcats! In case you haven't been outside, Mother Nature has cranked up the AC to full blast, so we’re giving our students a day off tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22! That’s right, the temperatures and wind chill are so cold even our mascot Bobcat needs an extra blanket. Stay warm, drink some hot cocoa, and enjoy your day off. We'll see you once the weather remembers it's not supposed to be colder than your freezer! Despite these freezing temperatures, it's still a great day to be a Bobcat!

Winter is coming in strong, and it's bringing some seriously chilly vibes! Due to forecasted low temperatures and wind chills, Brandywine Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, to avoid turning our beloved Bobcat students and staff into popsicles. Stay warm, stay cozy, and we'll see you when it's a little less frosty. It's a cold, but great, day to be a Bobcat!
