Next week is the next blood drive at Brandywine Middle/Senior High School! It will be held at the Media Center on Tuesday, September 8 from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The Bobcat Natural Resources class has had a busy morning cleaning up areas outside the school!
Bobcat Natural Resources is a middle school elective that introduces students to the fundamentals of sustainable living by exploring practical, hands-on projects that connect natural resources with community well-being. Students are working to restore the pond on the school grounds to its original glory and to create an outdoor learning space.

Fourth graders had special visitors on Thursday as part of the Football Buddies program! Football players came over and played football with the kids during recess and then signed autographs for their adoring fans until their hands hurt!

This week in photos!

On Tuesday, high school students in Bobcat Nation class assisted the football team in handing out "Football Buddies" t-shirts to staff members.
Football Buddies is a new program this year aimed at promoting excitement and involvement within school community and the football program. Each player and manager is getting paired with a Brandywine staff member. The student will visit with their staff “buddy” each game day morning (or whenever schedules permit that day) to check in, say hi, and have a quick visit! Thank you to our staff members for being there for our athletes!

Middle school Field Day!

Last week, High School Student Council ran elections for next year. They had almost 200 ballots cast during lunch! 33 students ran for council. It is so awesome seeing our students be good Bobcat citizens and stepping up to lead!! Here are the 2025-26 council members.

Mr. McLaughlin's 3-D Design class has been busy cooking up something special! Students were given the challenge to create ceramic "Food Imposters." Take a look at some of the results so far!

Five officers of this year's High School Student Council are graduating! They have done SO MUCH for their school community during their time in office that we wanted to give them a special shout out. Efforts include - Kindness Week (a full week dedicated to spreading kindness throughout the school), Beat the Winter Blues (pop-up activities throughout the winter months of school), going the extra mile for staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, planning donor blood drives and planning the Bobcat Bash, among so many other things. Thank you for everything you've done for your fellow Bobcats.
Monse Avina - President
Delandah VanDyke - Vice President
Steffany Cruz - Secretary
Adam Starr and Baily Roeder - Representatives

Our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade bands had their spring concert last night! A job well done to all of our musicians! They each received a commemoration for their hard work, as band members do every year they are in band.
