Students in Mrs. Kern’s Anatomy classes had an eye-opening experience yesterday!
They participated in a hands-on lab that allowed them to explore the complexities of vision, from the cornea to the optic nerve, through the dissection of sheep eyes. It’s one thing to read about how we see the world; it’s another thing to hold the lens in your hand!

Mrs. Murray's 7th grade science class is testing chemical reactions!
Today, each group did a lab mixing different ingredients together and measuring the temperature change. One group mixed vinegar and baking soda, another group mixed root killer, saltwater, and aluminum foil. At the end, they'll compare their results. The goal of the experiment is to see what reaction heats up the fastest in order to heat food in an emergency.

Mrs. Paul's 8th grade Social Studies class combined history and modern technology during their study of George Washington's presidency! During his presidency, Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson and Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton didn't see eye to eye on some key issues. These disagreements led to the birth of political parties.
Students were tasked with creating a text message chain of what some of the disagreements might have looked like.
