It’s almost Election Day! Brandywine’s sinking fund renewal is up for a vote—be sure to cast your ballot on November 4.

A sinking fund for school is a dedicated savings account funded by a voter-approved local property tax (millage) that allows school districts to pay for large capital expenditures like construction, major repairs, technology upgrades, and security improvements.

The levied taxes cannot be used for general operating expenses.

Today is Dia de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead!

Our elementary artists celebrated Día de los Muertos with colorful creativity! Students learned about this meaningful tradition and created vibrant pieces inspired by Day of the Dead, including animals and ofrendas.

An ofrenda is a traditional altar created during Día de los Muertos to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away.
