We had a very special visitor stop by on Wednesday, and even though he’s on the "Nice List," Santa made sure to follow our safety protocols by checking in at our secure entrance.
At Brandywine, safety is our top priority—from the North Pole to the front office. A huge thank you to our staff, students, and visitors for helping us keep our halls secure and our spirits high.

Mr. Nelson’s classes just wrapped up a fun creative math project! Students were challenged to write original songs using 5 different algebraic terms and design a custom album cover to match.
Seeing the intersection of creativity and logic was incredible. These students didn't just learn the definitions—they turned them into art.

Students in third grade are finishing up their unit on Ancient Rome! Mrs . Alstott’s class created puppet shows , telling a story from the Roman lessons. Two popular stories retold - The Sward of Damocles and Androcles and the Lion !
Students at Brandywine Elementary played Music Twister this week! Students had to step on the corresponding "note" instead of the color, such as quarter note, half note, etc. This strategy will help them get better at reading notes and music!
Students in Ms. Polotto's fifth grade class made crystal candy canes today in science class!

We want to see as many former players and coaches as possible back in the gym where it all happened. Help us spread the word!

We're so proud of Owen, one of our bright head start students who joins our teachers at Merritt for special education time! Last week, Owen was a rockstar during his Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activity.
He worked on recognizing and naming different feelings by creating pictures that describe his emotions. Understanding how to express yourself is such a crucial skill for young learners, and Owen is making amazing progress!
