6th grade students modeled the rock cycle yesterday using Starbursts!
Some fourth graders saw an adult picking up trash and they decided they would do their part and clean up the playground at recess yesterday. Way to go students!!
Yesterday, fourth graders had the pleasure of listening to some short mysteries read by Board of Education Trustee, Mr. Colby in honor of March is Reading Month! Thank you for dedicating your time to our students!
Sixth graders in Ms. Horter's class are studying the Greek Gods and today they acted out a scene from Prometheus, props and all!

Brandywine Elementary students are gearing up for a future state championship in gym class!
Students at Brandywine Elementary are studying the artwork of Romero Britto and creating their own artwork inspired by his style.
Romero Britto, founder of the Happy Art Movement, is an internationally renowned artist who has created an iconic visual language of happiness, fun, love, and hope all its own inspiring millions worldwide.
As part of the CKLA unit, Student Inventors, fourth grade students were given the task to create a way of throwing away trash without having to get out of their seats. The students had to collaborate, design, build, and then test their inventions. The goal was to get the trash into the bin 75% of the time.
First sign ups are from 7-8pm in the High School Cafeteria during the Homecoming game tomorrow night!
