If your child will turn 5 on or before September 1, 2024, they are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for this upcoming school year (Fall 2024)

1. Complete the Brandywine Community Schools enrollment form and return it to Merritt to reserve your spot (fax,  email, or drop-off in person)

2. Pick up an enrollment packet from Merritt or find all documents in the Kindergarten Registration folder.

3. Start collecting the following documents. We'll collect these during kindergarten screening and Round Up: 

• Immunization records

• Official birth certificate (not a photocopy) 

• Proof of residency (current gas, water, electric, trash, or tax bill)

5. Other forms you might need to complete:

• District Release Form

• Out-of-State Tuition Application--if you don’t live in Michigan

If your child will turn 4 on or before September 1, 2024 but not yet 5, he or she might be eligible for preschool or our Developmental Kindergarten programs. 

1. Complete the Preschool/Developmental Kindergarten Eligibility Form.
