Brandywine Considering New, Improved Facilities

On Monday night, school administrators helped school board members visualize a Brandywine High School where a spacious community center hosts an array of sports practices and is an available space for the community to host events or teach class.
The proposed community center was one of a number of project proposals presented to the board. Many of the projects fell under infrastructure improvements and could therefore be supported by the sinking fund, while freeing up funds for other initiatives, said Superintendent John Jarpe.

Brandywine Band Quilt Raffle Winner!!

Congratulations to Laura Hartz, mother of band member Elizabeth Hartz, for being the Brandywine Band Quilt Raffle WINNER!!
The band quilt was created by band parent Gina Schimmel, who hopes to have another quilt ready for the band raffle by next fall.

It was Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump, only for this debate the presidential candidates were embodied by Brandywine High School students, who debated as if they were the candidates on Monday. The debate was one of the final steps in an election research project through Dave Roeder’s civics class.

Brandywine Band Quilt Raffle

Gina Schimmel is currently selling raffle tickets for a quilt the band will be raffling off at the December 11th band concert. The quilt was donated to the band, which means every dollar received is 100% profit for the band. The raffle tickets are being sold for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.

2016-2017 Athletic Ticket Prices

Family athletic passes are available for $125 and are for all HOME middle school, junior varsity, and varsity events (except tournaments). “Family” would include parents and school-aged children in grades K-12, living at home. Family passes must be ordered through the Athletic Office by calling 683-4800, ext. 207.
